About Grace Kids:

At Grace our goal is to provide a safe, secure, and enriching environment for children. We seek to provide programming that is fun, engaging, and educational in the hope that children will grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Preschool Ministry

(6 weeks – Pre-K)

Meets during Sunday Morning Service

The purpose of our preschool ministry is to nurture both the physical and spiritual development of children from birth through pre-k. Doors open for drop-off at 9:50am, all children must be checked in at the welcome desk.

[COVID-19 Update: We are not currently offering nursery or toddler classes on Sunday mornings. However, our nursery is open to allow families with infants and toddlers a comfortable place to worship and view the service.]

Early Elementary

(K – 2nd grade)

Meets during Sunday Morning Service

In our early elementary program, our goal is to partner with families to provide programming aimed at building a foundation in God’s word. All children must be checked in at the welcome desk. Children will attend worship with their families and have an opportunity to participate in communion before being dismissed (by announcement from the stage) to attend Sunday morning Kidmin.

Pre-teen Ministry

(3rd – 5th grade)

Meets Sundays: 5:00-6:15pm
**Begins Sunday, Oct. 11th**

In our pre-teen ministry, children in grades 3-5 come together weekly for fellowship and Bible study. The goal of our pre-teen ministry is to continue to build on the foundation laid in earlier ministries and guide children to pursue a personal relationship with Jesus. Preteens must check in at the welcome desk. Doors will open at 5:00. Preteens will be dismissed at 6:15.

Safety

The safety of the children we serve is a top priority. Children are checked in at the welcome center desk and will be assigned a nametag that the child will wear while in Kidmin as well as a security tag that parents/guardians will be asked to present at dismissal. There is a unique code that is printed on both tags that helps us to ensure that each child is leaving with the right adult.

Serving in Children’s Ministry

We are always looking for volunteers to serve in our children’s ministry! We do require that our volunteers be church members and that all volunteers pass a background check prior to working in Kidmin. If you are interested in serving in Kidmin at Grace, please contact Kristi@graceodessa.com

COVID-19 Precautions
