We partner with Jennifer Douglas with Lekker Speech to offer speech therapy to children in our program. This is an optional program and is an additional cost that families pay directly to Lekker Speech. It is often helpful to our Early Academy families that we offer speech therapy during the day while thier children are in school.
If you have been given instructions by your doctor to have your child's speech and language evaluated, Jennifer is available to do full evaluations while your child is at school. If you are unsure if a full speech evaluation is needed, Jennifer can provide a speech and language screening for a $5 fee per screening. This screening will only determine if your child is functioning within normal limits or if a full evaluation is recommended.
To set up an evaluation or screening, give the Early Academy staff your information and Jennifer will give you a call. Lekker Speech can bill Blue Cross/Blue Shield or accept private pay.
